Statewide Stormwater Industrial General Permit – Total Maximum Daily Loads Implementation

Date / Time:
Tuesday, Sep 13 1:35pm to 2:05pm
Sunset I & II
Track / Session:
Industrial General Permit / TMDLs and Treatment System Effectiveness

The purpose of my presentation will be to inform interested stakeholders on the process of incorporating Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDL) requirements into the Industrial General Permit (IGP). In the coming months, State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) staff will be soliciting stakeholder input and working internally to finalize the permit language for incorporation of TMDL requirements into the IGP. As a State Water Board IGP staff member working on the TMDL incorporation project, I will be able to answer questions about the process and describe concepts to interested participants. The theme of the conference, Source to Resource, can easily be incorporated into the discussion/presentation when describing compliance options for meeting the TMDL requirements.
