This workshop focuses on planning approaches to integrate and prioritize green infrastructure with transportation investments to improve water quality and build resilience to a changing climate. Participants will be provided specific documents and tools to support their planning efforts.
Speaker / Panelist 1:
Matthew Fabry, City/County Association of Governments of San Mateo County
Biography: Matthew Fabry serves as Manager for the San Mateo Countywide Water Pollution Prevention Program, a program of the City/County Association of Governments of San Mateo County, which assists the 21 San Mateo municipalities with stormwater compliance issues. He is currently Chair of the Bay Area Stormwater Management Agencies Association and has over 25 years of experience in water quality and stormwater management. Matthew is a registered civil engineer in the State of California.

John Riverson, Paradigm Environmental
Biography: John Riverson is a principal water resources analyst, modeler, and Director at Paradigm Environmental with 21 years of experience in water modeling, stormwater management, data analytics, and systems design and application.

Scott Durbin, Lotus Water
Biography: Scott Durbin founded Sustainable Watershed Designs in 2007 to create an engineering company focused on full water cycle design and treating stormwater as a resource. The company, now doing business as Lotus Water, implements water resources and civil engineering projects that emphasize integrated water management solutions. His experience includes leading green infrastructure, resiliency, and flood reduction capital planning and implementation throughout the West Coast.

Steve Carter, Paradigm Environmental
Biography: Steve Carter is a principal engineer and Director of Paradigm Environmental, and has 20 years of experience supporting municipal, state, and federal agencies in watershed and pollutant loading analyses and the planning and implementation of stormwater management practices.
