This 3-day online course is designed to cover the topics specified for CGP Training. Upon completion of the course, students are eligible for the QSP and/or QSD exam. Mr. Lokkesmoe is a Senior Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Engineer GENI. He has over 35 years’ experience developing and implementing project and site-specific environmental and occupational safety plans and training programs for all levels of client personnel. He has been conducting SWPPP training since 2002. He has developed hundreds of SWPPPs. He is active on the CASQA Committees for General Permit and training issues, is one of the best informed and most popular trainers in the field, and has trained thousands of students during his career.
Bruce has been teaching QSP and QSD for over 12 years on a regular basis throughout California for a wide variety of clientele. In addition to QSP/QSD he has taught the Caltrans 8-Hour Water Pollution Control Manager (WPCM), 24 hour SWPPP, and the 3-5 Hour Stormwater Management courses, all of which he developed the curriculums for. He has a proven track record in understanding and dealing with complex regulations and communicating them to students at all levels of capability, and has the unique ability to engage and inspire students who do not have a strong desire to learn.
GENI has an internal support team to assist with student logins and general questions before and during class. The instructor logs in to the virtual classes 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time. The interactive Zoom program allows students to type questions in the chat tool, and students who have microphones on their devices can speak when they have questions during class. GENI has an internal virtualtraining@safetygeni.com email that reaches multiple team members to assist with any questions (this information will also be included in the Zoom invite email).
