Legislation & Advocacy
CASQA represents stormwater in the California State Legislature and Administration to promote our priorities to maximize stormwater capture, prevent pollution at its source, view stormwater as a resource rather than a waste, and to identify funding for these goals. Our advocacy is guided by and aligned with our Vision for Sustainable Stormwater Management.
Subcommittee
The Legislation Subcommittee meets monthly and provides a significant resource for CASQA members. Engagement in this subcommittee is highly encouraged.

CASQA members have access to the Comment Letters & Testimony page, which serves as the archive for position letters on legislation and requests for funding the State Budget. CASQA also maintains a bill tracker and other legislation resources on the Legislation page in the For Members section.
