CGP Training Program

In this section you can find information about QSP/QSD qualifications and renewal, and view the training course calendar. CASQA also offers CGP ToR qualification. Current CGP ToRs can find student and course information, including virtual training options.

In partnership with the California Water Boards, CASQA leads the Construction General Permit Training Team (CGPTT), a collaborative group comprised of industry experts (e.g., State Water Board, Regional Water Boards, CASQA, construction managers, the development community, linear project managers, academics, etc.). Through an all-volunteer effort, the CGPTT advises on the development and implementation of the Construction General Permit Training Program, including qualifications for Trainer of Record (CGP ToR), Qualified SWPPP Developer (QSD), and Qualified SWPPP Practitioner (QSP).
