QISP Qualification

To administer the IGP QISP Training Program, CASQA partners with the Office of Water Programs at Sacramento State (OWP). Log in or create an OWP account. Upon login, ‘Stormwater Certificates’ then ‘IGP QISP’.

After confirming that you have read the Industrial General Permit, read the SMARTS guides, and completed the self-assessment questionnaire, complete the following QISP Training Steps.

Upon completing the training course and passing the exam, your QISP certificate will be sent to the email address you provide during registration. You are responsible for keeping your contact information current. If you change jobs, move to a new address, or change your email address, be sure to update your listing.

Your name, QISP certificate number, and expiration date will be posted for public reference on the QISP Lookup Tool. You can choose to make your contact information available as well. The initial qualification is valid for 2 years. It must be renewed to stay valid. For the steps to renew your qualification go to the QISP Renewal page.
